Feed In Tariffs (electricity generation):
Feed in Tariffs have been introduced to Great
Britain since 1st April 2010. The scheme guarantees a minimum payment for all
electricity generated by the solar PV system, as well as a separate payment for
the electricity exported to the grid. These payments are
in addition to the bill savings made by using the electricity generated
on-site. The tariffs available and the process for receiving them vary,
depending on when the project was installed, and whether the system and the
installer were certified under the MCS scheme. The government are currently reviewing the scheme and we will be updating our customers as soon as new definite tariff levels are set in the new year.
